Silicon Valley giant Microsoft laid off a total of 10,000 people from its various departments at the beginning of last week. In fact, due to these layoffs, Microsoft also decided to close the virtual reality company AltspaceVR.
These layoffs also sparked rumors for 343 Industries, the game development studio owned by Microsoft. The company, which is the developer of Halo, was also said to be closed due to layoffs.

“Halo and Master Chief are here, they’re not going anywhere.
343 Industries will continue to develop Halo games with legendary stories and great online modes, now and in the future.”
This message, coming directly from Pierre Hintze, the CEO of 343 Industries, made a deep ‘oh’ to the fans of the game. It is really good news that we will be able to see Master Chief and Halo in the future.
