21 year old Dutch student sold his soul as an NFT

As we’ve also reported on Kriptokoin.com, everything seems worth selling after getting introduced to the concept of Non fungible tokens (NFTs). While not everyone has grasped the concept, those who have it take it to a whole new level. Alongside the jokes, tweets, and video clips sold as NFT, a 21-year-old art student has now marketed his soul on the NFT marketplace OpenSea. Stijn van Schaik, a student at The Hague Academy of Art in the Netherlands, has sold his soul as digital art.

“Hello individual, you are looking at a spirit right now,” says Stijn in the listings. In the listing description, he adds, “I am for now,” but “who knows what will happen when it is on its blockchain as an NFT.” Stijn has also set up her own website to reach a wider audience in her spirit. Stijn states on his website that he is a crypto fan who is “actively” looking for ways to earn virtual currency while also “giving back to technology.”

$400 token, now about $3.5 million

He also said that by listing his spirit, he hopes to draw attention and spread the concept of NFTs to others who may not be aware of it. While it may seem like a public relations gimmick to many, it’s very important to Stijn. The student says he hired a creative writer to draft the “deal that includes selling his soul” on his website.

Additionally, Stijn has published an article on the site where he describes the “spirit” and lists certain terms and conditions of sale. The NFT sold for just over $450 shortly after it went on sale. However, the NFT buyer, which we can call the “new owner of the soul”, now wants 40 Ethereum, that is, about $ 3.5 million.
