Twitter, which has undergone a structural and administrative change in identity after being acquired by Elon Musk, said goodbye to the blue bird logo that became synonymous with it a while ago. At the same time, the social media platform, whose name has changed, will now continue on its way with the X brand.

The first job done after this change was to change the sign of the company’s headquarters in San Francisco. However, the light emitted by the new sign was so disturbing that it was removed within a few days after complaints from people in the surrounding buildings. While the San Francisco city government decided to impose a fine because of the logo, Elon Musk’s attitude at this point drew a lot of reaction.

Elon Musk made the building owner pay the fine he caused

The San Francisco Building Inspection Department has completed an investigation into Twitter’s newly renamed X sign for environmental disturbance. In this context, a fine of 4 thousand 447 dollars was issued. Here is where the interesting part starts. The party paying the fine was the owner of the building, not Elon Musk.

The authorities wanted to go to the roof of the headquarters to examine the sign after the complaints they received, but the X management flatly refused this request. Thereupon, it was decided to impose a fine on the property owner due to “lack of permission”.

After this incident spread on social media, a user shared a post describing the fine for the signage as “the cheapest marketing campaign of all time”. Elon Musk responded to this post with a GIF of a memorable Al Pacino scene. This sharing of Musk, who was in a lawsuit with the owner of the property, which the headquarters did not pay the rent before, drew a lot of reaction.
