Released on November 11, 2021, the Huawei Watch GT 3 will soon be equipped with the beta update for HarmonyOS 3. The Watch GT 3 and GT 3 Pro duo, which is currently on its way with HarmonyOS 2.1, will be interrupted by a delay decision taken by Huawei.
Why was the HarmonyOS 3 beta update delayed?
A customer representative working at Huawei announced that the relevant HarmonyOS 3 version, which is still under development, will be available between January 15, 2023 – January 30, 2023.
This beta version was originally supposed to be activated in the fourth quarter of this year, but Huawei has abandoned that plan. Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro users were not affected by this decision.
Equipped with LTE (4G) connection, these smart watches will offer a better user experience in data synchronization and battery life thanks to HarmonyOS 3 beta.
