The Happy Cats Contest, which forms the basis for getting to know different cat breeds, learning about their care and meeting pet lovers like them, was held at the Istanbul Expo Center last weekend.
In this competition, in which more than 140 cat species participated, the cat named Princess, which has more than 116 thousand followers on Instagram, came first. The owner of the Princess, Elmina İkra Özbey, talked about how her cat became a phenomenon after receiving the award.
Different cat breeds appeared in the competition
The Happy Cats Contest hosted many enjoyable moments throughout the weekend. Animal lovers, who introduced their cats to the juries, made an exciting effort to be the first in this competition where different breeds competed. Cat breeder Mümin Tongur was one of the names that participated in the Happy Cats Contest with his 3 cats. Elmina İkra Özbey, the owner of the Princess, the winner of the Happy Cats Contest, explained how the photos of her cat became so popular with the following words; The idea of opening an account came to my mind when I lost my first cat to save the moment. Because I had very few pictures of that cat in my hand, and this caused me intense sadness. I opened an account with that feeling.
