SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy), a very rare and genetically transmitted muscle disease, causes deterioration in the spinal cord, which contains the nerve cells that control the muscles in question. For this reason, the brain cannot send commands to the muscles, and as a result, people have difficulty performing even simple actions such as sitting up and swallowing.
Since SMA, which mostly affects children and infants, makes it so difficult to control the muscles, the muscles weaken over time and seem to become unusable. As such, the lives of innocent children and babies suffering from this disease, unfortunately, continue through machines. To support these children, Turkish Artist Haluk Levent announced that he will make a television show.
Agreement made with the channel:
Announcing the good news with his post on Twitter, the artist announced that he had decided to make a TV show and that he had agreed with a channel for this. Stating that the program will be based on music and donations, the artist said that he will work every week to finish the campaign of a child with SMA.
The post in question received very good feedback on social media. There is no clear information about the broadcast date of the television program or on which channel it will take place, which we believe will give very good results when put into practice.
But these too will emerge over time. As details about the channel and the program emerge, we will be sharing them with you. If you want to learn more about SMA disease, you can take a look at our article on the subject.
