Jet Shark looks like a normal watercraft at first glance. But what sets it apart is its ability to dive underwater for short periods. Although this semi-submersible watercraft is only a prototype for now, we can say that there are other vehicles similar to it.
Jet Shark founder and creator Rob Innes has experience in this field thanks to his work at Innespace Seabreacher, which he co-founded in 1997. According to Innes, the previously developed Seabreacher is like a racing car, while the Jet Shark is like a GT car. With three times the volume of a Seabreacher and four seats on the prototype (with a maximum of six planned for production models), the Jet Shark builds on the many feedback and experience Innes has gained working on previous watercraft.
The Jet Shark is expected to cost between $200,000 and $300,000 depending on specifications, and the company hopes to begin delivering the boats to their owners by the end of 2024. Its main customers are envisaged to be holiday resorts in touristic places.
