A hacker group in Belarus has put NFT up for sale, which President Alexander Lukashenko claims contains passport information.
Belarusian hackers say they gained access to passport information of every Belarusian citizen, including President Alexander Lukashenko, and produced an NFT with passport details.
Belarusian President’s Passport Converted to NFT
The hacktivist community claims to have hacked passport information of every single person in Belarus. It also sells NFT parts in different versions on OpenSea, referring to President Alexander Lukashenko.
Belarusian Cyber Partisans, who allegedly stole data last summer, via Twitter; “For the first time in human history, a hacktivist community has obtained passport information from citizens of the country. Now we offer you an opportunity to be a part of this history.”

Hacker group Belarusian Cyber Partisans announced that other government officials closely linked to Lukashenko also want to sell NFTs containing passport information.
A spokesperson for OpenSea told Gizmodo that the project broke company rules regarding stealing and disclosing personally identifiable information about another person from the internet without their consent.
