Opportunist Benefiting From Hack Attack Earned $15.5 Million
After DeFi protocol Ankr was hacked, an opportunist made quick transactions, converting 10 BNB to $15.5 million.
Opportunity has purchased 183,885 aBNBc with its 10 BNB worth approximately $2,890. Just one minute after this transaction, he converted his aBNBcs into 191,130 hBNBs.
The opportunist, who has 191,000 hBNBs in hand, logged into Helio Protocol within a minute. He invested all hBNBs into the protocol and in return borrowed 16 million Helio Stablecoins. $16 million stablecoins were paid to the open hBNBs in the system.
In his last transaction, the opportunist turned these 16 million stablecoins into $15.5 million BUSD. In just minutes, an opportunist pocketed millions of dollars from the hacked protocol.
