When will M4 processor MacBook Air be introduced?
Since 2020, Apple continues to integrate M series processors into MacBook and iPad series. The company officially announced the M4 processor in recent months. In this process, MacBook Pro and iPad Pro series were updated with the M4 processor, while the MacBook Air models have not yet switched to M4. The promotional date of the new MacBook Air models, which has been expected for a while, was once again the subject of leaks.
Mark Gurman, known for its resources close to Apple, spoke about the MacBook Air series in Bloomberg’s Power on corner. According to Gurman, the M4 processor MacBook Air series, which has been seen in MacOS 15 beta versions for a while, will be introduced very soon. Gurman said that the new MacBook Air models will be introduced in March, although it does not give a definite date. In addition, Gurman said that Apple has started preparations for bargaining and sales and the stocks of M2/M3 processor MacBook Air models decreased.
The M4 chip produced during the second generation of TSMC’s second generation will provide a significant performance increase to MacBook Air models. The new MacBook Air models have not yet been finalized what innovations other than the processor, but it seems likely to add updates such as Thunderbolt 4 support and Center Stage Camera.
