World-renowned luxury fashion brand Gucci has purchased virtual land on The Sandbox, one of the leading metaverse platforms.
According to Vogue Business, Gucci has also joined the virtual land movement and announced that it has purchased virtual land in The Sandbox, one of the leading projects in the field. While the brand allowed its customers to create virtual fashion experiences with this move, the amount of the investment was not disclosed to the public. As it is known, fashion is one of the prominent topics in the metaverse field.

The brand has played a major role in the entry of other leading brands into the crypto space. Gucci became the first luxury brand to hold an NFT auction through Christie’s in May 2021. Gucci’s experience made a splash after someone bought a Gucci bag for $4,000 for $1,000 more than its real-life value.
