Rockstar Games, which is one of the fathers of the game world, had a great fiasco in the past weeks. Having ‘refreshed’ the GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas trilogy, Rockstar has released games with bugs and virtually unchanged. While the reactions were not delayed, Rockstar even published an apology for its disaster, while those who received regret and those who did not received it were thankful.
Finally, Rockstar wanted to make another small gesture for players who purchased Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. The company will offer one of five Rockstar games for free to every player who purchases this game on the PC platform from January 2022. Players will choose from these five games.
5 games and one of two packages will be available for free:
According to the shared statement, players who purchase the remastered version of the GTA trilogy will be able to choose one of the GTA V: Premium Edition, GTA IV: Complete Edition, Max Payne 3, L. A. Noire or Bully: Scholarship Edition games. However, players who do not want any of these will be able to have A Great White Shark Cash Card for GTA Online or 55 Gold Bar for Red Dead Online for free.
But not every player can make this choice. Rockstar is only making this offer available to those who purchased the PC version of the game. Every player who owns the game via Rockstar Launcher will be able to add it to their library for free by choosing one of the 7 options above, starting from the New Year until January 5, 2022.
Of course, it is not known whether these options will take the pain out of the money given to GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition.
