We have received a lot of official information from Rockstar Games in the last months, but important leaks about GTA 6 keep coming. The latest report shows that GTA 6 will break many grounds. It was claimed that there will be two protagonists, one of which is a woman, in the new GTA.
GTA 6 will take place in Miami and will be released in 2024
The latest report by Bloomberg included the claims of people close to Rockstar. While it was stated that GTA 6 will pass in Miami, it was said that more cities will be added with the updates. It was reported that these additional cities may be similar to GTA: Vice City – Vice City was also set in Miami.
It was stated that the number of characters in GTA 6 will be reduced to two and will take people who lived in real life as an example. One of the GTA 6 characters, inspired by the thief duo Bonnie and Clyde, who lived in the 1930s, will be a woman.
It is said that the protagonists in the new game may be Latin, and this seems like a concept Rockstar has not tried so far. It is also noteworthy that there is a female character in GTA 6. In GTA games, only women can be selected as special characters in GTA Online.
It is thought that Rockstar will develop the new GTA for at least 2 more years. This may disappoint some players about the GTA 6 release date, as it may not be released immediately after development. Still, the game is expected to be announced between April 2023 and March 2024.
Rockstar Games has also started posting various job postings for its studios around the world. Positions include animation specialist, designer, 3D designer, photogrammetry specialist and animation programmer.
