With the introduction of PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S consoles, the new generation console era had begun. An exciting announcement was also made about GTA 5, which is indispensable for most players. We heard a long time ago that GTA 5 will be remastered in a way that is close to Ultra graphics on PC. The performance of the remaster version, which was released this week, on the next generation consoles was tested.
PS5, GTA 5 Remastered more performance than Series X
The game, which excitedly waiting for the new generation console owners, was released on March 15. It was a nice detail that the price of the game in our country was not utopian at all. As soon as the game was released, the graphics tests were published on YouTube and now we can clearly see the difference. We watched the tests and the notes we got are as follows:
- The game performs better on PlayStation 5 than Xbox Series X. In fact, although the Xbox Series X is more powerful in terms of hardware, PlayStation is ahead.
- Although the difference between PlayStation 5 and Series X is not big, the Xbox Series S normally lags behind.
One of the most curious about the remaster version of the game was how it graphics compared to PC. As seen in the video, we can say that the new generation consoles offer an image close to the ultra graphics on the PC. When we compare it with PS4 and Xbox One, the difference becomes quite clear.
Both consoles aim for 30FPS with quality mode, 4K and ray tracing. Performance mode, on the other hand, can offer 60FPS experience at 1440p. So we have to say that the frame rates offered are satisfactory.
