A British company called Invisibility Shield introduced its new product, which it claims to provide invisibility, and started fundraising for production. At first glance, the product looks like a transparent plastic panel; does not work with electricity or any other power source. Instead, it provides invisibility with advanced optical lenses that reflect light.
Although it looks transparent, it actually reflects a slightly hazy image of the image behind it. Light conditions and the wearer’s clothing can alter the invisibility effect, but the company claims the results are the same from 5 meters or 100 meters.
“From the observer’s point of view, this background light is effectively distributed horizontally across the front face of the shield, over the area where the object would normally be seen,” the firm says. The firm is very confident in its product and investors seem to agree. As of April 6, the invisibility shield has raised $214,134 from 1,065 backers.
A number of similar products arose a few years ago, but many of these projects ran into obstacles and disappeared. Recognizing this gap in the market, Invisibility Shield takes the stage very assertively this time.
