Apple has announced a new feature that will make you a karaoke star on Apple Music. Apple’s music streaming service will have a new feature later this month called Apple Music Sing. The feature will come to devices like the iPhone 14 and iPad Air (2022) as an update to the already existing Apple Music Lyrics tool. When activated, users will be able to see the lyrics of the song playing simultaneously on the screen and adjust the volume of the vocals in the music. Thus, it will be possible to get support from the words coming from the bottom while trying to sing the song. When desired, the lyrics can be completely turned off and songs can be sung on.
The most useful aspect of this feature is that the entire background of the song can be played in the background, since it only turns off the vocals. If desired, it will also be possible to hear only the sound of backing vocals. Apple Music Sing isn’t just for songs with solo vocalists. It also allows you to duet with a friend.

We don’t know how much of a silent singer you can make yet, but we think it will be as close to silent as possible. We have to wait for Apple Music Sing to kick in to find out how much the volume can be lowered.
Since this feature is an extension of Apple Music Lyrics, it is thought that songs that do not currently support this feature will not support Apple Music Sing as well. However, currently 10,000 songs already support real-time lyrics. Even if your favorite duet, epic anthem or crying ballad isn’t available at launch, you’ll likely find something to enjoy there.
