ASELSAN’s domestic ammunition is on display at the Paris Airshow, one of the most prestigious aviation fairs in the world. New information was shared about the GÖZDE silver kit developed by ASELSAN and the deliveries of TOLUN.GÖZDE guidance kit entered the inventory
According to the statement made at the Paris Airshow, GÖZDE guidance kit, developed together with ASELSAN and TÜBİTAK SAGE, started to enter the inventory within the scope of the contract signed with the Presidency of Defense Industries. GÖZDE transforms MK-82 general purpose bombs in 500 lb class into INS/GPS and Laser Seeker Head (LAB) guided ammunition, enabling precise hitting of fixed and high-speed moving (50-120 km/h) targets. GÖZDE guidance kit has been certified for F-16 and F-4 aircraft, and the integration work of Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA continues.

A lean production line was established for TOLUN, which was exhibited at the Paris Airshow, and mass production began. With a range of 100 kilometers, TOLUN has warhead variants with both penetrating efficiency (capable of penetrating a 1 meter thick concrete obstacle) and particle-effect warheads. TOLUN shows low secondary damage effect when performing these high events.
TOLUN was developed as an INS/GPS guided ammunition that can be fired from an air platform with a multi-carrying bay and can be used against hard and soft land targets. During the development process of TOLUN, successful firing tests were carried out with the F-16 and Bayraktar AKINCI offensive unmanned aerial vehicles. It is aimed to complete the certification tests in line with TOLUN’s usage concept and start delivery in July.
