Making a strong entry into the smartphone market with the Pixel 7 series, Google continues to be the victim of leaks. Now, the company’s Pixel roadmap from 2023 to 2025 has been leaked. Here are the new phones planned by Google and introduced in the coming years

Pixel devices to be introduced by 2025 have been announced

Starting from 2023, Google will reportedly launch Pixel 7a and Pixel Fold models in April and May. Among these devices, Pixel 7a will increase the 60Hz refresh rate to 90Hz, which received criticism from its predecessor. To recall, the Pixel 6a had a great success with its camera design against the Pixel 7 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro. The upcoming Pixel 7a is expected to continue this success.

In the continuation of 2023, Google will also launch the highly anticipated Pixel 8 series. However, the base model of the series, Pixel 8, comes with slightly smaller dimensions than its predecessor, while the Pixel 8 Pro will be the same size as its predecessor. Except for the new Tensor G3 chipset, the Pixel 8 series is expected to offer similar features to the Pixel 7 family.

Pixel 9 series will consist of three models

After that, Google will add a new model to the Pixel 8 family in 2024. This model will be the Pixel 8a, which will be available with a price tag of $ 499. However, it is stated that the plans may be canceled depending on how much the Pixel 7a sells.

Coming to the Pixel 9 series, the new smartphone family is expected to consist of a total of three models. Among them, the Pixel 9 will maintain similar dimensions to its predecessor, while the family will be accompanied by two Pro devices in 6.3 and 6.7 inches. Google seems to be imitating Apple here. We can think of the new 6.3-inch device as the iPhone Pro, and the 6.7-inch model as the Pro Max. In addition, these three new phones will be powered by the Tensor G4 chipset.

It is stated that for 2025, Google may take steps in different directions depending on how successful (or unsuccessful) its 2023 and 2024 strategy is. It is also said that a Galaxy Z Flip-like clamshell phone may come from the software giant. However, if these plans are canceled, the Pixel family may come up with two basic and Pro model devices in small and large sizes.
