Google, another major technology company, has also been rumored to release a foldable Pixel phone for the past few years. The design of the phone is similar to the Galaxy Fold and Oppo Find N
According to 91mobiles, Google filed a patent for a foldable display with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in June of 2021. The newly emerged images related to this application also gave us some ideas about the phone the company is working on. When the visual was examined, it was remarkable that the design of the Pixel Notepad was similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Fold.
The foldable screen in the patent reveals that the phone can be folded horizontally, while a selfie camera will be placed on the top frame. We can say that this is different from the Galaxy Z Fold4, whose camera is embedded in the screen. In addition, the device will be foldable inward; so it is stated that the front part is similar to the Oppo Find N. We can also add that the rear camera array of the Pixel Notepad can be horizontally similar to the Pixel 6.
There have been some rumors about Google’s highly anticipated phone before. In these reports, it was stated that the device may have a 5.8-inch external screen with a short and wide body. It was also claimed that the phone could come with a 12 MP IMX363 main camera, 12 MP IMX386 Ultra wide-angle lens and two 8MP IMX355 selfie cameras.
