A new feature called “Auto-verification” has been discovered in Chrome Canary that will make users’ lives easier. This feature will allow users to avoid solving CAPTCHA on sites they have previously verified.

When Automatic Verification is enabled, the browser will provide the site with proof of a previous test (something like a cookie). In this way, the site will be able to confirm that you have gone through a similar verification process in the past and understand that you are not a bot.

Won’t grant access to browsing history

It is stated that the feature will work without giving access to your browsing history. The auto-verification functionality was revealed by Twitter user Leopeva64, who previously shared information about Chrome’s future features.

Leopeva64 detected mention of this feature in the Chromium Gerrit logs last February, but so far this feature has not been found in the browser itself. It is not yet known when Chrome will come to the stable version.
