An important statement from the US -based technology giant Google for the Android ecosystem came. Compared to the official statement of the company, Android will be developed behind Google’s closed doors in the future. Although this decision seems to surprise, this is not much.
Google is developing the portable operating system in the “Android Open Source Project” (AOSP) system. Developers can follow this process closely. Soon this will change, albeit partially. In particular, the process of adding extra code of developers will no longer end. However, the company will continue to publish versions within the scope of AOSP. So the open source structure of Android will actually be intact.
So why did Google make such a decision?
Google uses its own system as well as AOSP while developing Android. While everyone can access AOSP, the internal system becomes Google’s own special development process. When new versions are released, there are some differences in the midst of AOSP with AOSP and they need to be patched. This means extra workload. Google made this kind of decision to get rid of it. With Android’s entirely Google’s development of its own internal system, things will be a little easier.
This is obvious; Let us also say that independent developers will continue to work on Android. In other words, companies that create Android -based interfaces for neither Samsung nor Oppo will not be subjected to random restrictions. End users will not be affected by this situation.
