Google said on the first day of this year’s I/O conference that more than 20 of its apps will be redesigned and optimized for Android tablets. As part of this plan, the tech giant rolled out new features for Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Keep.

It will be available to all users in a few weeks
Google shared the new features it will offer in a blog post. The company has updated Docs, Sheets, and Drive to support drag-and-drop. Now users can easily move text or images from apps by dragging and dropping them. In this way, transfers between applications have been simplified.
In another feature offered with the update, two Drive windows can be opened side by side. When users want to compare Drive files, they will be able to get this view by selecting ‘Open in new window’ from the three-dot menu in any Drive file.
The tech giant recently announced that those who use their tablet with a keyboard can use shortcuts such as select, cut, copy, paste, undo and redo to quickly navigate between Drive, Docs and Slides.
Google shared that all its users will be able to take advantage of these features in the next few weeks.
