Google is launching a feature that it first started testing in 2020, in the Translate app. Google Translate will save users’ history in the app to their account, and users’ history can be synced across their devices.
Cross-device syncable
When users log in to the app, with the ‘Back up translation history’ title: “Your translation history is securely saved in your Google Account. You can see your translations on any device you’re signed in to.” Started seeing a new window with a description.
Users who choose their account from the window will have backed up their history in the application and will be able to view their history in sessions opened on another device with the same account. Users who want to view their history from within the application will be able to access their account profile through the ‘History’ tab listed.
Spotify shuts down its radio-like listening app Stations
In the History tab, users will be able to tap the ‘star’ icon on the right side of the translation to easily access the translation results they want. Saved translations can be accessed via the ‘star’ icon in the upper left part of the application interface. The feature is gradually being rolled out to Google Translate users.
