Google entered the productive artificial intelligence race by introducing the new artificial intelligence model Bard in March. The chatbot, which rivaled ChatGPT, was answering users’ questions about any subject. On the other hand, Bard has recently received code writing support.
Now it turns out that Google will make a move to make Bard easier to access from Pixel phones. According to 9to5Google, Bard will come as a widget to the home screen of Pixel phones.
It’s not clear yet if Bard will come as a separate app.
Bard is currently only available on its website. Android users can access the model; but for this they need to use browser. Here, Google’s new move aims to facilitate Android users’ access to the bot.
Bard will soon come to Android as a home screen widget, according to a code 9to5Google noticed. For now, there is no information on whether the model will be integrated into Google Search or whether it will come as a completely separate application. However, in whatever form it comes, it is obvious that it will be much more practical than using it through the browser.
Also, another interesting thing is that it will only come to Pixels, which are Google’s own devices and are not sold in our country. Perhaps this is only to begin with and may come to other Android phones later. However, it is not possible to say anything definite for now. It should be noted that Bard is currently in limited preview. This may indicate that it could get Pixel users to skip the waiting list. Or it could mean that Google may soon remove the waiting list altogether. There is no information about this yet.
Bard has been criticized recently for some reasons, such as giving false information. In fact, a few weeks ago, it was revealed that Google’s own employees were not at all happy with the model and described it as “liar and useless”. It was even seen that employees did not want the model to be published because of the risks.
