The US-based technology giant Google introduced the messaging system, which it called “RCS” years ago, to the Android ecosystem. RCS allowed multimedia to be sent between Android users while texting, just like Apple’s iMessage service. Google has called Apple over the years, asking them to switch to this system as well. However, Apple management has always rejected this offer.

As such, Google launched a persuasion campaign against Apple. In this campaign, called “#GetTheMessage”, references were made to Apple. Now the newest one has been added to them. This time, Google has released all the source code of the RCS protocol in the middle of Las Vegas. The codes flashing on a billboard were a new call to Apple.

All brands except Apple have adopted the RCS protocol!

Google’s RCS protocol has been adopted by all smartphone manufacturers, especially Samsung. The only problem causing brand is Apple and the company does not seem to give up their stubbornness. If one day Apple can’t stand the pressure and accept the RCS standards; There will be no general need for applications such as WhatsApp and Telegram that we use today. Because almost every feature offered by these applications is offered by Google RCS.

Meanwhile; No one knows why Apple opposes the RCS service. Tim Cook already makes remarkable exits, sometimes saying “I don’t think our users want this service.” makes statements like Google, on the other hand, has published a website that you can access through the link here, and it explains in detail why it is necessary to switch to the RCS service. No one knows if this debate will ever end.
