Google’s initiative to help improve web privacy is beginning to test new controls with developers for Privacy Sandbox. The new controls, which the company calls ‘initial experiments’, will help with ad relevance and measurement.

New ways of displaying ads

Google continues to improve its efforts to serve targeted ads without cookies. The company is expanding its work with more people, with three new start-ups: Topics, FLEDGE, and Attribution Reporting.

These three titles offered for Chrome Privacy Sandbox can be tested in combination or can be selected according to which one is desired to be applied. The tech giant states that it will allow users to ‘see and manage interests associated with them or turn off experiments entirely’.

Google says the testing time may be slightly longer than usual to get correctly calculated returns. However, the company will expand the trials with a stable version of Chrome, according to the feedback.
