In order for the VPN application to receive approval badge, the mobile application safety assessment (table), which assesses the safety of the application, must have completed the level of level 2. VPN should have at least 10,000 downloads and 250 comments, and at least 90 days have passed since its publication on Google Play. There is also an obligation to send information about how VPN’s developer collects user data and to choose to participate in independent security reviews.
Google says that this list is not comprehensive, does not fully represent all the criteria used to demonstrate the badge, but other factors also contribute to the evaluation, but fulfilling these requirements significantly increases the chances of taking badges.
