The Android 15 -based Wearos 5.1 update was first available to Pixel Watch 1, 2 and 3 users. It is not yet clear which Samsung Galaxy Watch will come to the Galaxy Watch models and when it will be released. So, what are the new features that come with Wearos 5.1?What are Wear OS 5.1 innovations?
Among the important innovations coming with Wear OS 5.1; PIN, password and other authorization data to store applications facilitating access to the Identity Information Manager. With this update, smart watches can now play media from built -in speakers.
Wear OS 5.1 also contains several new features; Menstrual health tracking, improved media control and algorithm for better step count while or running. However, it is not yet clear whether these innovations will be available on all devices or only in Pixel Watch.
Samsung is expected to release the Wear OS 5.1 for the Galaxy Watch models with a new version of one UI Watch (probably one UI 6.5).
