Additional information will be offered about applications
To solve this problem, Google offers a new warning feature that indicates the quality of application. These warnings, which are currently appearing for some users, provide additional information about the performance and use of an application, helping users make more conscious decisions. Warnings are not shown to mark applications as dangerous or unusable, but to provide a more detailed perspective beyond simple star ratings.
There are currently three types of warnings. One of the warnings is notified that the application has been removed more frequently than other similar applications in the Play Store. With this warning, it is possible to mean that the application does not meet the needs of users or that there are better alternatives.
Another warning states that users interact less frequently than similar applications. The third warning reports that users have a smaller user base compared to others in the category of application.
These warnings do not mean that applications are bad or dangerous. For example, an application with low interaction warning can still be a good application for the purpose of use. Google’s aim here is to help users find the right choice by giving additional information to users.
The feature of the Google Play Store’s 44.7.24 version is expected to be available for all users soon. In addition, more various warnings can be added in the future.
