The design remains largely unchanged
In the video, we see the smooth and round new rotating crown design of the Pixel Watch 2, and it is noteworthy that the body part has also become thinner. There doesn’t seem to be a hole in the speaker section anymore, but there is a hole next to the side button. The belt mechanism appears to be the same as before.
There are a few changes on the back of the new Pixel Watch. The black frame is now much thinner and has wording indicating the watch’s sensors and water resistance. The sensor section has a round design where various components are gathered together, rather than in a sequential order. Speaking of sensor layout, it has been confirmed that Pixel Watch 2 includes an electrodermal activity sensor for stress management and tracking. It seems that the case has hardly been thinned at all.
When will Google Pixel Watch 2 be released?
Google will introduce Pixel Watch 2 along with the Pixel 8 series. Pixel Watch 2 will be available for pre-order on the day of the event (October 4).
