Key features of Google Pixel Watch 2 have been revealed
As reported, the Google Pixel Watch 2 will have a round OLED display with a resolution of 384 x 384 pixels on the front. In terms of design, we can say that it will be the same as its predecessor. According to the listing, the crown-designed function key will be retained and the device’s screen will measure 1.2 inches diagonally. For those who don’t know, Google Pixel Watch was introduced with Samsung’s Exynos 9110 (10 nm) processor.
The Google Pixel Watch 2, on the other hand, will surpass the Exynos platform with the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 paired with 2GB of RAM. It is also stated that the new smartwatch will come out with a battery capacity of 306 mAh, which is slightly larger than the 294 mAh battery in the Android 13 supported Wear OS4 and Pixel Watch. In addition, it will come with Ultra wideband (UWB) connectivity and new watch faces.
The Pixel Watch 2’s release date has yet to be announced. However, it will most likely appear at the launch of Pixel 8 and 8 Pro. Therefore, the next September-October months are indicated for both devices.
