Planning to step into the foldable smartphone competition, Google continues to work on the Pixel Fold. The foldable phone, which is expected to be introduced in the last quarter of the year but postponed to 2023, was displayed on Geekbench today.

What will Google Pixel Fold offer?

According to shared Geekbench listings, Google Pixel Fold is powered by the Tensor G2 platform, which we encountered in the Pixel 7 series. Home to two 2.85GHz high performance, two 2.35GHz silver and four 1.87GHz efficiency cores, this processor is accompanied by 12GB RAM and Android 13 operating system.

As for the Geekbench results, the Google Pixel Fold scores 1,047 in a single core and 3,257 in a multi-core. We can say that these scores are weak against Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which scored 1524 and 4597 in the same tests.

Coming in May 2023

The Google Pixel Fold will have an 8-inch internal display and a 6.19-inch cover display that offers a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. While it is expected to include 9.5MP selfie sensors on both of these screens, it is stated that the device will come with a triple camera setup. The Google Pixel Fold is expected to be introduced at the Google I/O event in May 2023, with a price tag of $1800.
