Google Pixel 8 and 8 Pro features revealed
After the Pixel 8 Pro image shared in the past days, render images of Pixel 8 appeared today. The Google Pixel 8 model will be presented to users with a 6.2-inch screen.
Both models will feature the Tensor G3 processor developed by Google. Allegedly, Google will cooperate with Samsung on the processor. It is stated that the Tensor G3 processor will be a modified version of the Exynos 2300, which will be produced by Samsung.
Google will include a triple camera array on the Pixel 8 Pro model. A main camera, a telephoto camera and an ultra-wide-angle camera will be used. However, it is stated that the device will also include a LiDAR sensor.
Compared to its predecessor, the Google Pixel 8 will be 150.5 x 70.8 x 8.9mm or 5.1mm shorter, 2.4mm narrower and 0.2mm thinner. On the back of the device, there will be a larger camera area than its predecessor.
Along with the Pixel 7 family, Google has introduced a new “Deblur for photos” tool that uses the machine learning capabilities of the Tensor chip. According to the leaked information, the company has completed its work for the “Defocus for videos” technology in the Pixel 8 series.
Given Google’s interest in deblurring for photos, the technology is expected to support videos as well in the near future. The technology, which is still in the testing phase, does not create a noticeable effect in the videos.
