Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, announced by Google at the last I/O 2022 event, physically appeared. YouTuber Lewis Hilsenteger (Unbox Therapy) featured prototypes of Google’s latest flagship models in his latest video. Here is the design of the Pixel 7 family.
How will the Google Pixel 7 series design be?
The design details of Pixel 7, which is expected to go on sale in October with Android 13, were discussed in the last video of Unbox Therapy. It is stated that the Pixel 7 Pro has almost the same case dimensions as the Pixel 6 Pro (163.9 x 75.9 x 8.9 mm).
The Google Pixel 7 is shorter and thinner than its predecessor, the Pixel 6. Pixel 6 is 158.6mm long and 14.9mm wide; The Pixel 7 case width is around 13.2 mm. It was also stated that both Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are less curved.
Google said it will use its own Tensor 2 chipset at its I/O 2022 event. Although the details of these processors are not known for now, it is thought to be based on the 4nm architecture. It is stated that Tensor processors will also be produced by Samsung.
Google introduced Android 13 in February, and it’s been in beta for almost six months. In the past weeks, it has started to distribute the stable version of Android 13 to Pixel phones. However, interestingly, when you update Pixel 6 series devices, it is not possible to go back to Android 12 from Android 13.
Android 13 is known to fix many bugs. Pixel 6 and 6 Pro users stated that problems such as double tap, Always On Display, automatic brightness have been fixed. It was also reported that all Pixel models became faster.
