Android 13 operating system was introduced during the Google I/O 2022 event and was released under the codename Tiramisu. The product’s distinguishing feature is the adaptation of the Material You design concept for system elements and application icons. The operating system also brings four color themes, a new multimedia control tool, updated privacy settings, and additional support for tablets.

Additionally, the company announced that it supports spatial audio and Bluetooth Low Energy Audio data transfer standard. During the presentation, Google Wallet, a new contactless payment application to replace Google Pay, was also introduced. Android 13 also announced the Panlingual function, which allows you to translate any app into the language you want. In addition, the operating system now offers extended stylus support, making the device’s screen unresponsive when accidentally touched while using a stylus. This will allow comfortable use of the pen.
Full version late summer or fall
Android 13 also set notification send permissions, privacy protected photo picker, pairing with nearby devices, and It brings with it a number of new features such as improved permissions for accessing media, matching application icons with theme colors, HDR video support. The company has also added a number of innovations for tablets, including a split-screen mode and transferring files between active apps.
Android 13 is available for download as beta. The full version of the operating system will be released in late summer or early autumn. Distribution timing depends on smartphone manufacturers’ roadmap.
