Google Meet gets new feature
The feature introduced in the new Google Meet update allows a user to mute the video view of other participants. Thus, for example, if he is making a presentation, he will not be affected by the mobility that develops in the window of the participants.
The video mute feature is only available for the person who turned it off. This means that other participants will be able to see each other’s video windows as normal. This feature is accessed by clicking the floating menu in the participant’s window. The menu includes closing and opening features.
On the other hand, the Voice Only feature is also available for mobile only. With this feature, the user closes the video window of all participants except the presenter. Again, this will be a special case only for the person who closed it. Google Meet window closing feature started rolling out to mobile and desktop starting this week.
