Google Meet brings new features to the platform to improve users’ desktop experience in Chrome. Google is rolling out the picture-in-picture feature in Meet. Also, meeting participants will now be able to pin multiple video feeds .
They were introduced gradually
In the Chrome browser, Google Meet users will be able to use the picture-in-picture feature during a meeting through the options. Users will see a window with four participants after activating the feature. It will be possible to mute the microphone, control the camera, exit the call or return to the full Meet tab through the window.
Users will also be able to pin multiple video feeds. Google in particular: “This gives you more flexibility in how you combine people and content, allowing you to adjust the view to best serve your meeting.” says.
Google said it hopes these two new features will “make it easier for presenters and meeting attendees to stay connected to their meetings.” Both features have been gradually introduced to users.
