READING NOW Google leaked its new flagship itself: But how?

Google’s Pixel phones have been one of the most leaked phones ever. We’ve already seen leaked images of the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro via trusted channels, and now Google has taken control and has itself leaked a picture of the Pro model on its official website (!).

Here is the porcelain-colored Google Pixel 8 Pro

The device appeared in porcelain color on Google’s “Google Subscriptions and Services” promotional page. Image seen by user android_setting Shared on X (formerly Twitter).

At first glance, it’s hard to tell the Pixel 8 Pro in the leaked image from the 7 Pro. The two Tensor phones are almost exactly alike, with a few minor differences. Only when you take a closer look, it can be noticed that the rear camera module of the phone in the leaked image has a new design.

Unlike the Pixel 7 Pro, which has a pill + circle design, the Pixel 8 Pro has three primary cameras housed in a single pill-shaped housing. The Pixel 8 Pro’s screen is also expected to be flat, a first for Pro-class Pixels. However, we can’t see anything other than the back of the phone in the image Google posted on its website.

The leak doesn’t tell us anything about what’s inside the phone. Still, we’ve heard about some potential new software features like specs, display and RAM, camera hardware, and Video Unblur.

What do you think about the design of the Google Pixel 8 Pro? Please do not forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments.
