Nest Locator Tag displayed

A post shared on Twitter by @neil_rahmouni reveals an interesting icon on Google Fonts. It looks like Google has added an icon for a device called the “Nest Locator Tag” to the Fonts archive. Although such a device is not sold by Google, the device’s name and icon point to Google’s alleged tracking device.

In the past months, it has been stated that the Nest team is working on a tracking device with the code name “grogu”. The tracker, whose design is expected to resemble the Nest Tag used in the Nest Secure system, will likely support UWB and Bluetooth Low Energy connections. Locator Tag, which is expected to place an important place in the company’s Android ecosystem, will probably be introduced at the I/O Developer Event that will be held next month.
