Google has quietly released an app for iOS to help you easily move your data from iPhone to an Android device. This application, which is completely free to use, allows you to transfer your data from the iOS operating system to the Android platform.
This application, published as Switch to Android in the iOS application market, allows you to transfer your most important data such as photos, videos, contacts and calendar events to Android. You can transfer wirelessly through the application. Messages are not migrated in the app, but there are instructions to guide you on how to turn off iMessage. Thus, you are prevented from missing the text messages from your friends and family.
