Many iPhone users naturally use Safari, developed by Apple itself, as a browser on their phones. Google, on the other hand, has made an important update in the Chrome application for devices with iOS operating system. This update may change the mind of iPhone users.
Google Chrome comes with many updates
With the new update, Google Chrome has become much more interesting for iPhone users. Google updates the Chrome app, making it more compatible with Calendar, Translation and Lens services. In addition, iPhone users can now experience a mini Maps application with Chrome.
With the new update, Google aims to serve much faster through the browser. Now, using artificial intelligence technology to detect addresses on web pages, the browser will offer the “View in Chrome with Google Maps” option when this address is pressed. With this new feature, a mini Google Maps service will appear on Chrom.
Similarly, when a certain date is pressed on Chrome, the “Add to Google Calendar” option will appear. With this option, a new panel is created where you can save this date and important information. Thus, events can be created without having to manually copy details between applications.
Finally, Google Lens has been integrated into the new tab page to search through new photos you’ve taken to Google Chrome and existing images from your camera roll. iPhone users will thus be able to benefit from the Google Lens service via Chrome.
With all these updates, Google aims for iPhone users to turn to more Chrome apps. So what do you think about the updates made in the Google Chrome application developed for iOS devices? You can share your views with us in the comments section.
