Google will roll out significantly faster fiber internet service in early 2023. Google Fiber subscribers will be offered two more options: 5 Gbps and 8 Gbps internet! 5Gbps internet price will be $125, 8Gbps internet price will be $150. As usual, users will be offered symmetrical upload and download speeds. Google will provide WiFi 6 modems and 2 wireless network extenders to its subscribers who want high-speed internet at home.Existing subscribers in Kansas City, Utah and West Des Moines will be able to pre-experience Google’s new fiber internet packages by participating in the test program. According to Google, the new packets will allow for large file transfers while keeping latency and jitter time to a minimum.
8 Gbps internet $150
In September, Google gave its employees the opportunity to test the internet at a symmetrical 20 Gbps speed. In this respect, the new Google Fiber internet packages may disappoint users a bit. Download and upload speed will be symmetrical, there will be no data limitation and no setup fee will be charged. Google claims it will keep accessible prices.
