Google has added a new option to the popular desktop web browser Chrome that allows you to quickly take screenshots from video. Thanks to the new feature available in Chrome 116, a desired frame of a high-quality video can be copied without cropping.

To save an image in a video in the Chrome browser, all you have to do is pause the video, right click and click on “Copy video frame”. However, this option does not appear on sites where the right-click menu is blocked. In addition, instead of saving the file, it copies the screenshot to the clipboard and takes the video in the same quality as the resolution.

Users will no longer need to use third party apps (tools) to get an image from videos on YouTube or other sites. Although Google says that the feature is available from today, it is not yet available to everyone in Chrome 116 version.
