Apple announced in the past months that it will launch a “fix it yourself” program for iPhone models. Last week, Samsung announced that it would launch a similar program and partnered with iFixit. Now, a similar announcement came from Google.

Google has partnered with iFixit to make it easier to repair Pixel devices. In line with the partnership, Google Pixel device parts (camera, battery, screen, etc.), tools for repair and manuals for repair will be sold by iFixit. The repair program covers all devices from Google Pixel 2 to Pixel 6. Repair guides are ready for devices other than Google Pixel 5a, 6 and 6 Pro, and are actively being prepared for the 5a and 6 series. Pixel parts will be available later this year in the US, Canada, UK, European Union and Australia.
