Shiba Inu (SHIB) and other cryptocurrencies are now accepted as payment via BitPay by luxury yacht charter and brokerage firm Camper & Nicholsons. The 240-year-old company will now accept yacht fleet payments in cryptocurrency for purchases, rentals and all other services.
SHIB and 10 altcoins have been added to the BitPay list for luxury yacht payments
BitPay is opening the following cryptocurrencies to transactions so that Camper & Nicholsons can purchase, lease and all other services as crypto money.

- Dogecoin (DOGE)
- Ethereum (ETH)
- Litecoin (LTC)
- Shiba Inu (SHIB)
- Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC)
- Stablecoins: BUSD, DAI, GUSD, USDC and USDP.
BitPay officially began supporting Shiba Inu coin in late 2021, allowing SHIB spend at hundreds of BitPay merchants where Shiba Inu are accepted.

Today, Camper & Nicholsons has 11 offices around the world, spanning four continents, with over 140 yachts and over 44,000 gross tonnage yachts in its sales and charter management fleet. SlingTV, American Cancer Society, Newegg, Menufy, Carolina Hurricanes and Twitch are among the major companies currently accepting Shiba Inu via BitPay . Jamestown, a company focused on real estate investment and management, is one of the latest companies to start accepting cryptocurrency acceptance payments through BitPay.
Shiba Inu reached more than 3,000 new wallets during the day
Shiba Inu added more than 3,000 investors within days as this metric number reflects growth. According to WhaleStats, the total number of SHIB holders currently: 1,142,157. On April 28, the number of SHIB investors was 1,139,916. While the growth in user numbers doesn’t necessarily affect the price in the near term, over time a meme can show interest in the token.
According to recent reports, over 22.5 billion SHIB have been destroyed so far through the SHIB burn portal. According to CoinMarketCap data, SHIB currently ranks 15th largest by market capitalization. The Shiba Inu was also trading at $0.000020, after falling to $0.0000184 at the close of April.
