Nvidia announced that it is expanding support for Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) technology to eight games this week. According to the statement from the company, the artificial intelligence-based performance feature will be available in more than 500 games. So what were the games that received DLSS this week?
Nvidia gives DLSS to The Finals and Fortnite
DLSS technology, which Nvidia introduced in 2019, continues to make a name for itself in the gaming industry. The number of games supported by this feature, which provides higher frame rates by creating an image that resembles a higher resolution image of a low-resolution image, is constantly increasing.
Important games that receive DLSS support include The Finals with Unreal Engine 5, SCUM and Throne and Liberty. According to the statement, The Finals will support DLSS 3 technology, providing up to 4K 120 fps performance on RTX 40 series graphics cards.
SCUM and Throne and Liberty will have ultra-resolution DLSS 2 support. In addition, Fortnite will release its season 5 update with DLSS 2 support. This update will introduce LEGO, rocket racing and festival experiences to the game along with DLSS.
On the other hand, the season 1 package of Call of Duty: Warzone will include DLSS 3 Frame Generation, DLAA and Reflex technologies.
In this context, the games that receive DLSS support are as follows:
- The Finals
- SCUM
- Throne and Liberty
- Fortnite Chapter 5
- Sands of Aura
- Silent Rain
- Soulslinger: Envoy of Death
- The Devourer: Hunted Souls
Let us remind you that DLSS features are distributed with Game Ready drivers. Gamers with a GeForce RTX graphics card should upgrade to the 546.33 WHQL driver to enjoy full performance from these games.
