Introduced earlier this year, the Xiaomi 12 series appeared before users without the Ultra model. The Chinese manufacturer delayed the smartphone several times for many reasons, including the chip crisis, and when the calendars showed July, it made a critical decision to rename the device as Xiaomi 12S Ultra and showcase it. The model received a passing grade with its technical features and design, but the fact that it was exclusive to China drew the reaction of some users. However, this situation will change with the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, which will be introduced soon, and the model will be sold globally. Finally, new details about the device’s camera have emerged.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra will come with a new and improved periscope sensor
Kartikey Singh, who has come to the fore with his leaks in the industry, shared new details about the camera of the upcoming Xiaomi 13 Ultra model. Accordingly, the device will be presented to users with a completely new and improved periscope sensor. In fact, according to Singh’s own statement, this camera will shock the sextor.
The leak does not include technical details about the new periscope camera, which is expected to be used on the smartphone, but there are statements that Xiaomi will end the dominance of South Korean manufacturer Samsung in zoom.
Singh used the following statements at this point;
“No one has been able to challenge Samsung on zoom in the last 2 years and they’ve been using the same hardware for 3 generations now, but next year things will start to turn around.”
Apart from that, if we look at the information previously leaked by Digital Chat Station, the smartphone will appear in front of users with a quad camera setup led by the 1-inch main sensor, as in its predecessor. However, the leak also includes statements that the device will come with gimbal stabilization.
It is highly likely that all four sensors on the smartphone will come with technologies such as PDAF (phase detection autofocus) and dToF. Other than that, there are no clear details about camera resolutions yet.
