TikTok introduces new program ‘TikTok Pulse’
TikTok introduced ‘TikTok Pulse’, a new advertiser program like YouTube Select, ahead of its 2022 NewFronts rollout. Both programs bring together top-performing content and brand-safe creators. The company stated that creators and publishers with at least 100,000 followers in the first phase will be eligible for the revenue sharing program.
TikTok’s General Manager for North America global business solutions, Sandie Hawkins, said in a statement that the program will launch in the US in June. The company did not specify how many producers it would approve for the program. However, the new program is thought to help the platform attract more creators.
In December, the platform also entered the ‘Creator Next’ portal, which content producers can use to earn money. Here, producers can learn how to accept virtual gifts and payments from viewers of their videos and live content.
Producers with at least 10 thousand followers can apply for this. The company is now adding ad revenue sharing to creators’ monetization opportunity. It is not yet clear how much the producers will earn. In addition, the company thinks that manufacturers will make serious money if the program achieves positive results.
