As you know, Tom Clancy’s Division series has managed to become one of Ubisoft’s successful brands. But more than four years have passed since The Division 2, and we’re starting to hear rumors that the series has been shelved. Today, Ubisoft broke its silence and officially confirmed that Tom Clancy’s Division 3 is on the way.

Tom Clancy’s The Division 3 is officially confirmed

In an official post yesterday, Ubisoft announced that Julian Gerighty, whom we know from The Division 1 and 2, has been appointed as the Executive Producer of The Division brand. At this point, one of the main focuses of Gerighty’s, who previously served as creative director, will be to build a team for Tom Clancy’s The Division 3 and to ensure that Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is well supported.

Therefore, we can say that the green light has been given for Tom Clancy’s The Division 3. However, detailed information such as the release date of the game has not been shared yet. It is stated that Niketim Gerighty will return to The Division series after Star Wars Outlaws, where he is currently the Creative Director. Therefore, we can say that the wait will continue for a while.

What we know about The Division 3 is limited to these for now. However, Gerighty says that the development process will be about “constantly pushing the bar of quality forward.” In addition, Ubisoft will continue its support for The Division 2, even though Division 3 is on the way. However, it has not been shared whether this support will be DLC or what it will include.
