Published by Motion Twin in 2018, Dead Cells has become one of the most successful roguelike and Metroidvania games of recent years. The game, which is available on PC, Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android platforms, has also been supported with many updates. During Game Awards 2022, Motion Twin announced new downloadable content for Dead Cells with an exclusive trailer. The Return to Castlevania DLC will put our character against the Dracula and Death characters we know from Castlevania. According to Motion Twin’s statement, this update will be the biggest expansion pack released for Dead Cells.
Released for console and PC in early 2023, the DLC will add two different biomes to Dead Cells, new enemies like werewolves, 14 different weapons including the Vampire Killer, Cross and Holy Water, and 51 original Castlevania soundtracks. In addition, our character will be able to team up with Castlevania heroes such as Richter Belmont and Alucard in his new adventure.
